Question about phone bands...

I wanted to know if its possible to chage a phones Band, lets say froma a GSm or TDMA to a CDMA, or vice-versa. If so, How?

I don't believe its possible. You are looking analog vs digital, and totally different frequency.

TDMA and CDMA are digital technologies, there are maybe some very old version of the cdma that were analog.

it's an interesting idea, i thought about it once. i don't think it's possible because the hardware must be different.
but, if it is possible at all, then GSM » CDMA/TDMA sounds more realistic, becuase i don't think it's possible to turn a CDMA/TDMA phone that doesn't have a simcard to a GSM phone that does have simcard.
i guess we'll have to try it, although i'm 99% sure that it won't work.
