T28 SMS Help!!!!!

Hi

I have a T28 that a mate gave me to flash the problem with the phone is when you go to compose a new sms the phone will only let you key in the first letter on any of the keys...

eg.. you canot type the letter b or e etc..

Has anyone come across this problem i have flashed the phone but it changed nothing.

Have you tried turning off T9
