Hello all.

My Nokia 3650 was replaced by AT&T due to a bad SIM connector.

I just got this one back and it has a differnet IMEI number, can someone please help me unlock it again.

IMEI: 351102500276786
CODE: 0509804/030320TU
Used on AT&T GSM Network here in Dallas.

Thank You.

DON'T try this!

Please buy a datacable -no usb - and read out you network code first with bwinlock from www.b-phreaks.co.uk

ATT network code for 3650 IS NOT 31038. Given codes calcuzlation is based on type 5 version 1 codes for 31038

You have been warned. You have only 5 tries.

I did a *#06# for serial number and the number is

35110
2500276786

Is 35110 AT&T network code?

no! you need the configuration key that is usually the network code, but not for att 3650. the configuration key is used by nokia, to deliver to every provider a dongle that can only calculate codes with this configuration key

for phones like 6200 / 6800 /8390 /3590 att uses 31038, but for 3650 it varies

Thank you for the info.

I dont have time to buy the cable, i'm going oveseas on Wednesday night. Is there any other way to unlock it? or is there any way to find out what the Network code is?

So, there is a possibility that my 3650 will use 31038 as AT&T network right? I guess i can try the above code and if that doesn't work (1 and 7), i will have 3 more try.

I just want to check with you guys before doing it.

Please advise.

Is there a reason why it wouldn't be 31038? Putting my 3650 into modem mode and issuing it the AT+COPS? command returns:

AT+COPS?
+COPS: 0,2,"31038"

Other software that inferfaces with the 3650 also reports the network as 31038, and my IMSI starts with 8931038.

I'd try it, but keep a few things in mind:

1. You need to remove your SIM before trying these codes.
2. Try only the first code given. From what I understand, this is the type of lock ATTWS uses. If it fails, do NOT keep trying.
3. I've heard ATTWS uses a modified algorithm so that their 3650s will not accept standard unlock codes, so if the codes above weren't generated specifically for the ATTWS 3650, they won't work.

If the code 1 doesn't work, should I try 7?

I heard from other post that if 1 doesn't work, 7 should work.

Please advise.

just don't try it

if there is another possibility than read out CONFIGURATION KEY I would tell you

configuration has nothing to do with network code, it can be the same but not on 3650 from att
