Can anyone here clarify on how to unlock SE phones?

Most of you state that you will need a data cable to unlock SE phones. But an Ericsson rep email me the unlock code for my T68i, and it worked without any cable.

Please advise.

Ericsson have the correct equipment to do this

75% of all unlocking via this market is done with 3rd party software or servers

mavrik101:

I don't think you need cable at all because different customers emailed him (indirectly) IMEIs and he replied with different codes.

The unlocking services on EBay require you mail them your cell phone. I would not trust them.

What I am saying is that I emailed a SE rep with the IMEI and the carrier information, and he was able to email me back with the unlocking code. I do not have any service cable.

you can get the code from [email protected]. Better still call him on +234-803-7173560. Note he sell SE unlocking codes for 23 pounds.
