Hi,
I converted the .eye and .ear files to avi using eyecon, but when i play it, i can only hear the sound, no picture what so ever. Any one know how to fix this?
I'm using win2k sp4, (sp4 sucks btw) but no recovery record :( wmp 9 and directx 9, latest divx codecs. And i've installed (at least 10 times) the Nub codec that comes with the gui eyecon zip file, manually and automatically.
I've read about inverted colours, inverted screen, vid/snd sync problem, but not what i'm experiencing... At this point, i'd be a happy camper if i got those problems instead.
Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I sent my file to a friend who uses XP, and he found the same result :(
Thanks for your input :) If possible I'd like a solution that doesn't require OS installation, at least, not XP... I still have reserves about that particular M$ product. lol

well i guess i'll use this as my first post.. i've been following this forum for a while and this problem has eluded me the longest.
I had the problem with no video just audio after converting *.eye files to *.avi. I tried nearly everything- downloading new codecs, upgrading windows media player, and trying different video players. So I thought I might as well try it on my other computer and, it doesn't play the video at first, but says in the info "error downloading codec" but continues to play the file with audio only. So I click to install nubinst.exe NuB for Windows codec, and it works.
So I go back to my other computer and go through add/remove programs in WinXP and remove "NuB for Windows codec (1.0.0.1)" and then reinstall it through the Nuinst.exe application and it works quite good now.
I think the problem was that if you installed the codec more than once, the video playback won't work... let me know if it works for you other members out there.

OMG, it works!!! Thank you SO MUCH!!!!! I don't understand it, but like most end users, i'm happy as long as the end results goes my way. This is so cool! For a bit, i was stuck using remote s60 to grab the videos, and that really sucked. Now i can go on some vid recording rampage :D
