White Screen

my 3650's screen all of a sudden turns all white sometimes with the OS still running.. i can press the buttons and navigate and all but all i see is a white screen, and so i just reboot...

i can still get calls, and messeges, but it sucks because i cant see anything..

i tried without the MMc, and it didn't come out, so its likely another MMC related glitch..plus, it started happening more frequently when i loaded videos onto the card..


anyone else experiencing this?

anyone have any idea what's causing this? or how to fix it?

I guess you are reffering to the background screen/picture. I have recently had the same problem my self. my background picture is disappearing for some reason. It works with a reboot, but it`s quite annoying.

Also my phone has recently started to turn it self of and the ringtones keep changing without my concent :O( i`m deffenately gonna take my phone to the servicecenter tomorrow and hopefully get a firmware upgrade.

As you imply, i also think this is a MMC-card error caused by the current firmware.

No. i am exactly referring to the screen turning white, and not the wallpaper disappearing. when i said "the SCREEN... turns ALL WHITE" , i actually meant "the SCREEN... turns ALL WHITE".

my phone used to turn itself off also, but i did a reformat of the card, and restored the phone to the orig settings, and it stopped doing that-->only for the white screen problem to occur.. oddly enough it has yet to turn white for days.. and i didnt change a thing! :rolleyes:

Im on 2.5 and here are some of da recent app's i installed:

1) Torch
2) photosms
3) appman
4) blacklist
5) total irremote

i used to have the remote proggie, and my phone turned off randomly.. now, i dont have the apps you listed installed.

you know what, maybe it really is with v2.5, and mmc compatibility.. do they have the latest official firmware upgrade at your country? if you get an upgrade, let us know if it still happens ok?

da only 1's common from dat list r ETI and photographer. Maybe ur right tho...it can be 2.5. Da latest i think is 4.05....I wanna upgrade but da last official version here is 2.5. :(

I know this has been discussed a coupla timz but is there really no way that we can d/l da latest firmware from nokia n flash da fone ourself? Wot exactly do yew need besides da software offcourse to flash a fone??:confused:
