Help needed unlocking a 7210 handset

Hi there, I have a Nokia 7210 handset on Orange network in the UK.

IMEI = 350893107530341

Can someone tell me a way in which I can 'unbar' the phone from the Orange network?

Once you've received your codes, it will look something like this:

#pw+123456789012345+7#

Take out your SIM card, then switch on the phone. It will prompt with "Insert SIM". Type in code 7 VERY carefully:

To get the "+" press the * key 2 times
To get the "p" press the * key 3 times
To get the "w" press the * key 4 times

The phone should say code accepted, and reboot, then prompt "Insert SIM". Switch it off, insert the SIM you want to use, and it should be fully working with signal.


In this case (assuming I have the SIM removed and the phone switched off etc as stated above) I only enter #pw+898441615616444+7# which was the 7th line down you posted. Is this correct?
