How do I re-lock the phone if it is unlocked via the DCT4 Calculator?

What is the use of all the seven codes calculated the program? Can this support other habdsets too (Non - Nokia)?

No you can't use it with any other phone. It works with DCT4 Nokia only. The seventh code is universal code for turning of restriction (unlocking) on your phone.

Why would you want to re-lock your Nokia DCT4 Cellphone?

Well in my country (Slovak Republic) if you unlock your phone you will lose warranty. But if anything goes wrong you can re-lock it and than everything is OK.

My 3650 was supplied in a T-mobile (UK) box and the phone all set up for T-Mobile. However it works fine with Virgin. Is this because Virgin is a virtual operator for T-mobile, or isn't my phone locked?

Oh, and the Nokia DCT4 Unlock Code Calculator comes up:
Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.

@BritSwedeGuy
T-Mobile & Virgin use the same operator code 234-30 :)

The newer 2k3 virgin sim cards are said to be using a new network id 234-00 so if you virgin card had been a new one it might not have worked !

Have u tried any other network sim card in your phone ? as that would show that it was unlocked/locked better.

Thanks - I found some useful info & calculator here -> http://www.unlockme.co.uk/dct4free.html
Mine always comes up code error so I'll try my old Comviq (Sweden) card - maybe it's not locked at all!

well i wouldn't say its unlocked yet !!!

Try this :
Lock1
Lock3
Lock5

If after doing lock1 the restriction is off, try your other sim card (comviq)

I have had this happen to me on a 7650 which is very similiar

Right, so here is what you have to do:
1: download the missing file 'COMDLG32.OCX' or use it if you have one, otherwise use google to find it on net
1-1: Paste the file to c:\windows\system or system 32
2: click start and run
3: type regsvr32.exe COMDLG32.OCX
4: click OK
5: you may need to reboot your comp

Good luck

I swapped with another 3650 guy - we're both locked (****ing network operators!)
I tried 1 5 & 7 - guess I'll try 3 next - and then give up!

That's why I'm getting nervous! As I've had my SIM I'm not sure of the MNC number either...

Thanks for your opinion!
I've unlocked two 7650 with this software.
