7250 animated GIFs and Voice recorder

Hey all. I have the 7250i (new features aren't great don't stress you 7250ers). I sucessfully upload GIF which animate in the gallery but won't animate when set as wallpaper. Anyone have any ideas how to overcome this?

Also I noticed on my boss's old 8310, that it had a voice recorder! Is this a application? Could I get it on my 7250? It didn't seem to be a hardware device. Any ideas?

hello mate,

about animated GIFs, they are supposed to animate in the gallery when open them to view but i dont think u can set any animated pictures or GIFs as a background picture/wallpaper, even if do set a GIF as a wallpaper, it will only show the first frame of the GIF....normally people would set animated pictures as a screensavers but im afraid this function is also not available to any series 30 (colour screen, java capability phones only) and 40 phones to date...this feature is going to be available for upcoming nokia 3100 which is due to be out end of this month or early-mid august 2003...so watch out for it....anyway, i still prefer 7250/7250i over 3100 but heck who know whether i will change my mind once i see the 3100.....hehehe..:) :D
