I just checked on the back of my mobile and it has the NSM-3NX. Can i use the mcu+ppu flash files for my mobile?
If i can't, where can i get the files for NSM-3NX.
Thanks

if you see that when pressing *#0000# shows NSM-3NX, then i think you should find the appropriate flash file.
But, you could try flashing with your existing files.
8) Important: You should first backup your current phone's sw in case it's not "nx" and your flash file doesn't work. ;)
Hi,
the NX can be different, sometimes the networks give the phone's thier own model number (like in the UK, Orange call thier phones xxxxe eg 3330e) there are a couple of different 3210's in this manner too, even though they are dual band, Orange and T-Mobile (1800) had the phones under NSE-8 and others as NSE-9
If its an 8210, all 8210 flash files unless corrupt will work on your phone, except 8250 flash files where you need a ROM6 version of the 8210 instead of a ROM5

What is ROM6 and ROM5:confused:?
Hardware versions of the main board, a ROM5 one will not have everything needed to run 8250 firmware.
ROM6 is the same board as used in 8250 and will accept them.
ROM5 and ROM6 all accept ANY 8210 original flashes, 5.28, 5.29, 5.30, 5.31 and all previous

I want to know how I can see by the flashfile if it is for Rom 4/5/6.
>> Hardware versions of the main board.
Does this means this '02.81' from netmonitor 100?
(eeprom loc .015E)

I dont know a way of checking the ROM version via Net Monitor, the flash files are all the same, so I dont think you can read it from a flash file either.
I think board revisions are etched onto the board, or you can tell the difference between them by looking at the main board itself.
I know you can do this with ROM3 and ROM4 51xx aswell - the boards look totally different.

A pity.
So from a certain flash only the version number could be some indication.
Anyway, thanks for info.

Hi NokDoc!
In the Netmonitor menu 88 u can c the version e.g.: B50.4.110 in the last line
(first line is MCU vers. and PPM version+lang pack
second line is date of the firmware
third line is MCU Checksum as 16 bit hex)
The .4. here means DSP4.
I confirmed this in a 5110, 6130, 6150, 3210, 8210, 6210. Dunno others...
