I tried the last code (#7) and the screen dispalyed "can not undo restriction" with a small stop sign. Any other ideas besides having to do the cables.

if code error, do not enter another one, but buy a datacable and read out configuration key with bwinlock (look my signature)

IMHO there was more than 5 wrong tries entered in your phone

Cable solution with free JIC unlocker will not work if firmware version is too new.

Then only commercial solution like griffin or afd or bwinlock WITH dongle can help.

Also just wondering, ealier you advised that the config key was 33402, on the Telcel website it states that the key is 334 020. Would the extra zero make any difference?

the extra digit makes no difference

same like is the usa

but there could be the possibility, that telcel uses another code as configuration key --> you can read out with bwinlock

e.g. if several service providers use the same network, there could be several config keys!

buy a datacable check out
