hiya guys.
how long does a pay as you go sim card last?
ive got a vodafone sim card that i havent used for about 2 years and ive just gone to use it and it says number not in use.
if i put credit into it will it sort this problem out ? or do i need a new sim card?
i ask these questions because i dont want to put credit into it incase it doesnt work and i lose my credit.

cheers

The SIM itself will last a relatively long time, however most companies delete phone numbers from their system after about 3 months of inactivity. (Or 6 months...)

I don't think that crediting the phone will reenable the number, someelse should probably comment on that :).

But overall, I think the phone number has been deleted for good, buy another SIM probably :)

contact the network and see if they will reconnect the number for you.
