it should appear "phone restriction off"

when i first turn fone on its says "contact service"
the only way i can get to the restrcioncode is by putting sim in and put the charger on

and what happens if u put a uk vodafone simcard on the phone?

put sim it asks for pin number then it says phone restricted (undo)
then it asks for code

then its not locked to vodafone...
try putting this code after pressing undo

then if it doesnt work im afraid u'll have to take it to a nokia service point, cuz it's not normal if it says "contact service"
