Power on Nokia phone only with charger

Hi all,

is it possible to power up a phone only with a charger? I mean, you remove the battery, plug the charger in and press the power key and the phone starts up - is this possible?

I think only the VBATT and GND pins must be bridged by wire. The BSI and BTEMP line may also require cheating...


Any suggestions on this?

It will be hard ... I tried somthing like this a few months ago but I used a stabylized DC power supply the problem is that You have to simulate the thermo couple in the battery cause the phone dont see the battery in the first case....in fact You need the battery cause it is the main supply i think...
