No signal after flash - but NOT faid. Help..!

Hi all, I've just edited my PPM file of my 8250 (original 8210), so as to add more ringtones, which has worked fine, only to find that the phone is now unable to find a signal. It looks as if the faid needs recalculating (weak/no signal, resetting etc), but I calculated faid using both knok22 and eeprom tools. I tried to test the phone using eeprom tools, and it came up with "bad or corrupted IMEI", "faulty ariel" or "hardware problem". I know it is not the latter two, so what could be the problem? Please help!

Try to reset full factory settings using knok and, if it doesn't work, reset to factory defaults using the phone.

or u may try to use Rolis Nokia tool 1.7 / 1.8 to change the imei to the default one...and do the FAID and then SFR. it shld be Ok.

Calculate Mcu and ppm checksums
Rewrite to phone
Fix faid for new rewrite
FFS (If needed)

Should work - is the method I follow when doing the same...

And if all of the above failed, try to resolder the RF part of the board, if it still fails, try replacing it with a new one... Good luck and nice to be back here again...
