How do I change the HW version of my newly flashed 3310?
And how do I view the product code of the backed-up old version?

Edit: HexEditor like UltraEdit.

Always recalc after modifications.
(nFree for mcu calcs, ppm manager for the rest.)

What about the HW version? When I upgraded, there is no hw ver. neither when the phone is made (war0anty menu).

The hw ver for 3310.

U mean that i will hex-edit the backup flash file and then flash it back to the phone?

Yep, U could hexedit those values and get other values.
Some recalcs and reflashing are required after changing in this way.

Better use pclocals, it has much functions for such alike changes.
And it doesn't require flashing or recalcs.

I cannot understand why.
But U could see what the bytes should be directly from flash.
At the locations as I mentioned earlier.
