can anyone explain for once and ever the unlock codes, please? I've searched everywhere, but it's not explained... first of all, how can I check if my phone is locked? I downloaded one dct-4 unlocker and generated unlock codes for 7250 and 7210. But.. I posted in the forum my IMEI and MMC+MNC for 7250 and they gave me some codes, thank you. But the dct4 unlocker program gave me codes that had 3rd or 5th digit +1, i.e. if in the forum code was 123456789012345 the program gave me 123466789012345. Which code is the real one? And one more thing, the program generated codes from Type 2 and from Type 5. Type 2 codes were the ones with +1, Type 5 were completely different codes. Could somebody explain please wich codes are the real ones, because I heard that you have only 5 tries to enter unlock code. After that a cable is needed.. Thanks go to everyone that helps or tries to explain :)

the codes with +1 are griffin box codes and should work, too

type 2 is for nokia phones except 7650/3650

type 5 is for nokia phones 7650/3650 only

codes with -1 at second digit are newer ones and necessary for 3510i

which provider sold the 7210 and 7250

post product code beginning with 050XXXX or 051XXXX from label under battery

the code you were given were version 1 dongle codes
the code you generated were version 2 dongle codes
they work the same so there is no problem there

as for type 2 and 5
basically a nokia 7650 and 3650 are type 5 because they use the symbian os
when the nokia 6600 come out that will also be a type 5 also

all other phones are type 2

hope this helps

lol dam GSM you are fast dood

the product code for 7250 is: 0509760
I don't have 7210 with me, will post it later
so, which code I can use +1 or -1?

I think that I read somewhere that I could check if my phone have some lock. It was something like this "#pw+123456789012345-1#" (you have '-' before lock digit). Is that true and what for are all of the 7 lock digits?

thanx again! :)
