well , ivé here a 8210 from a friend and he flashed the phone to be an 8250 but didnīt work and phone was dead , now is in contact service , but need help for repairing all phone information ,(need help to replace again the software on the phone) .can you tell me any sites to find software , 8210 flashfiles to repair it , instructions , and the soft to do it too. urgent help please

Do You have a back up file..if so flash it back...than run nok tool by rolis and if it said rom 6 /type of the mad2w...You just have to find a working flash ...if it sais rom 5 You cant upgrade to 8850..

were can i find a full 8850 flash file or 8210 full flash file because my friend did not make first the full backup of his 8210 phone now i need to re-insert a new software into the phone to he works again need help in this matter ok thanx for help folks stay cool
ps- where can i find the best soft for flashing??

HI , ivīe downloaded the flash file and flashed to the phone but the phone still sayng contact service , i think i will try another think like make a full flash of other 8210 and replace it in the 8210 of my pell witch is in contact service , you folks what do you say??? maybe will work ?????can i do this in last choise ????
i donīt no what to do more but i will still searching , never lose hope ok stay cool and thanx folks :D

iīm using nokia dtc3 flasher by rolis v4.77 , i think this is the writhg soft , iīm making menu flash , option write , open flash file then flash it , but when flash is writed the phone says contact service ok thanx stay cool

Am I just wallpaper in this forum??? I told you already to use my guide in the Forum FAQ! If your phone still says "Contact Service" then post the results of the Eeprom tools test here!!!:o

Now we're getting somewhere! The tests failed because the eeprom is corrupted! Flash a virgin eeprom to the phone! Use my Rolis Flashing tutorial in the FAQ to show you how! All should be well!

uhhhhh....something itīs wrong ....or i making it wrong...
the phone stillīs in contact service i think i need a full flash file with around 4 or 5 mb of information .
iīve seen your faq & step 10 and 6 i think, i made like it says but stiil in contact service , where can i find such flash file????
the problem itīs that my friend did not make his own backup of his 8210 phone so now i cannot restaure all phone information , if he had make the backup it gonna be more easy , well thanx a lot , more sugestions stay cool

You can download a full backup file (they are 2mb in size) from here:

I have downloaded the 8210 full backup file - they're referred to as Fubu's and this file works perfectly. I had the same problem ie. contact service and I tried many, many different files. The full backup is probably your best option.

thanx a lot the phone now starts , he can charge batery but when i lunch nokia tool by jordik , or eeproom tools the phone canīt be readed , i cant read information of the phone , because i need to set imei , faid the phone , unlock it , etc... what can i do to solve this problem now and the language is in german not in english
need help to finish job

Use the Knok95 unlocking guide in the Forum FAQ! Set the imei to the one under yor battery!;)

i still not getting the information of the phone so i cannot fix/set imei , any softs that ivīe used canīt read the phone , i cannot set faid and reset user interface settings
what sould i do now any more sugestions ????

Are you using XP? You need to use 98SE! Make sure your correct com port is selected! Use Noktools and click on the ladybug! This will auto-detect the phone! Make sure your phone is ON!;)

i īm using win milenium portuguese version not xp , and when i trie to read always failed read and when i make an auto search of the phone he says mbus error or cant initialyse in local mode, can i put in test mode maybe can work , have any soft to do that ???, well thanx for your reply stay cool hugs

i īm not shore but i think i have somekind of problem with my com 1 and now with com 2 , i have to waith for my portatil pc wich went for maintenance , upgrade and repair , just wait for checking if my desk pc have any problem with comīs.

well has i though i dont have any problem with com or pc , ive tested in other pc and soft cannot read phone , now i need to restore/reinsert original imei but cannot get acess to the phone
after flash the phone with fubus file i can insert the sim and appears the logo of network vodafone then it disapears and i cannot make calls the bars of network in phone dont appear signal , the phone dont have original imei, have another one , maybe the problem its because dont have original imei ????
and phone dont gets network signal????please help stay cool and thanx

its so simple any soft didnt worked with my phone , so i just flashed the phone with fubus flash file modded but with a version 5.25 , soft rolis and epproom tool did not work , ive used nokia tool by jordik and it reads but i cannot change imei and use special factory settings so ive upgraded the version 5.31 protuguese ppm/mcu file to phone and i was able to set imei , special settings and unlock but i only can do that pressing the button make all , and it works, in the manual way the phone stayed in same, a litlle weird but it works
it was a try and thanx to god it works , using indications faq the phone did was not able to get network ....
i still making questions to myself of how it works ????
