I got some DCT4 code calculators and wonder why they calculate different codes on the same IMEI and provider
As a example, a I use DCT4 unlock code calculator v1.2 by EnRoX
and IMEI 351467101693311 and provider 21401 (both from previous post by Hadock)
I calculated unlock code four times - calculator has 4 opcions: dct4dongle v1
dct4dongle v2
griffin dongle v1
griffin dongle v2

Here are the results (UEM-5 selected, of course) - I post only 7th code for simplicity

dct4dongle v1 - 212075635072571
-'- v2 - 202075635072571
griffin dongle v1 - 212185635072571
-'- v2 - 202185635072571
So I would like to know which opcion - dct o griffin - use for what phone to get the correct code?

the codes are different becuase of different calculation algo's of different dongles and versions.

v2 codes are like v1, except the second digit is smaller by 1.
griffing codes are different from "normal" codes in the 4th and 5th digits, which are bigger by 1.

example:
if you get the code 123456789012345 with normal, v1 code, the other codes will be:
v2 - 113456789012345
griffin v1 - 123566789012345
griffin v2 - 113566789012345

v1 codes codes don't always work on all models, so the best option is to calculate v2 codes.

every phone will accept more than one code, so you can also use griffin codes, even though they are not identical to the others.

i always use normal v2 codes.
