Hello everybody!
I got a 8210 displaying CONTACT SERVICE message due to MCU and PPM failure.

My cable is a fbus/mbus (it has a little switch to change mode) but so far I couldn't flash my phone.
I can only see it's data, reset faid and some other functions, but when I try to flash the phone using different programs I get the message ''Cable not connected'' or something similar.
I also tried both fbus and mbus, still nothing.

Could any of you guys help me on this issue, coz I can't get a flasher cable.
How can I flash the phone using the existing cable (or modifying it if necessary)

I would appreciate any comment, thank's in advance, EPOC

you will need a flasher cable
you cannot modify M/F bus to flash a phone.

MCU and PPM failure is corrupt software! You will need a flasher cable (LPT) in order to do it! You can use my guides in the forum FAQ to show you how to do it!;)

Thank you guys for replying to me!

I've seen a flasher cable but it was just like a Parallel to serial adapter, it had no cable extension to connect to phone.
How can connect it, using my mbus cable maybe?
