that gave me a code error also.
I bought this phone from e-bay.
It doesnt have a sim card and mine is for 02 not vodaphone so i cant test it.
I have a data cable connected to the phone but cant seem to get the nokia suit to communicate with phone.
any help would be greatly appretiated.

to be honest it sounds like the phone is barred
reported lost or stolen

hey guys

IMEI is wrong

it begins always with 351111/10/406344/1

this is reason for wrong code

as there are only 2 tries left, we have to check if phone is locked from vodafone uk in real because usually vodafone uk doesn't lock contract phones

please post product code beginning with 050XXXX or 06XXXXX from label under battery and DON'T enter any codes until this

MrWolfman

forgot about that
was it the ebay that gave it away?

gsm community
26-07-2003, 08:36 PM
why forgot?

there is no IMEI with 55 in the beginnig

MrWolfman

i really must open my eyes
i bet i still do it again though

Arc_Angel
26-07-2003, 08:41 PM
the code under the battery is 0630663

351111/10/406344/1

0002EE8DC35C

If the phone works on vodaphone then it must mean that the phone is ok and not barred, lost / stolen.

i will ask around and try a friends sim card in it.
otherwise i will contact e-bay and complain about somone selling goods that arnt what they were sold as.

This is nokia configuration file for your product code.

Vodafone Ireland

Due to multilock feature, your vodafone uk card works, too.

try this code and post results, AFTER you checked with a simcard from another uk provider and phone responded with sim card not accepted

if card from another uk provider searches for network, phone is not simlocked

#pw+393466522106061+7# calculated for 27201

remove sim

and enter this code

#pw+296345227455645+1#

if you want to be sure, buy a datacable and case opener for 7650 and read out configuration key with bwinlock first

if configuration key is 27201, the code above should work
