Hi,

Can someone please post an unlock code for my phone please - I am not sure if I need one yet as I bought this phone in the UK on contract but am heading back to New Zealand soon and want to use it back there. Any help appreciated.

IMEI: 350991202141806
Network: UK Vodafone
Product code: 0508644

Thanks heaps.

Dave.

Will entering this code do anything if my phone is already unlocked? It seems to be able to take 02 and T-Mobile sim cards just fine at the moment.

Cheers,

Dave

vodafone uk usually doesn't lock contract phones

http://www.oftel.gov.uk/publications/mobile/2002/sim1102.htm

please try a sim from different operator first before you enter any codes

Phone is a vodfone contract phone and can also use O2 and T-Mobile sim cards so this would mean that it's unlocked fine as it is? What would entering the code do?

Thx for the info

Dave.

it would give you code error as the config key for phones unlocked out of factory is 00101

if you would like to play a little bit, you could try the following

#pw+314236044254432+1#

this is calculated for 00101

phone should answer "phone was not restricted!"

Tried this and it did indeed say Phone was not restricted :D

Ta for that. Interesting the business strategies of the various operators!
