6210 -> 6250. Gives some new possibilities like noise metter, changing LCD contrast, automatic keyboard blocking, time profiles, keyboad locking with code, task journal, 7 level network and battery indicators. Phone is a little slower (Nokia in 6210 5.56 increased a little speed and it's visible), has smaller phonebook (225, not 500 entries) and SMS memory (75, not 150 SMS), no HSCSD, Bluetooth (all these things are normal and like in original 6250)...and problems with weak 1800 Mhz coverage (partially resolved and solutions are in Internet - anyway, even after using them phone has small problems during moving and over fast handovers there is voice lost after moment)...and problems with power management (it seems to discharge battery in carkit and sometimes charger and shows incorrect capacity of battery in netmonitor). Last two problems can be probably resolved by tuning phone in professional service kit.

Aint there a way to get the full functions for 6250?

Well the simple answer is to get a real 6250 like I have. I love it to bits and will not part with it. its really strong and has had some falls but thanks to the shock protection its still going strong.

back to you the only words i can give you is "don't try to be something your not"

the reason for the power discharges is that the 6250 car kit is a bit different to the 6210 and so you putting a "6250" in to a 6210 car kit will just confuse it

my advice go back to a 6210 i mean it took a little while for us to fix ;)

hope this helps

There is no bluetooth menu its only there for data transfer you can't set it on or off its auto when in range of a device (like a palm) that is sending out bluetooth ID.

and by the way 6520's do support HSCSD
