I aint stolen a phone but I was interested. I got a 3310. If it got stolen and I reported it I'd expect the SP to lock the phone.
But the thief only has to change the IMEI, Unlock the Phone and Change the Sim Card right?
Is this true or am I wrong? Please reply!

yep simple as that
thats why theyve introduced the dct4 security imei features which is a lot trickier to change

I see... Is it impossible to change the IMEI on DCT4 phones? If I flash my 3310 to a 3315 will it make it worth more?

it's possible to change the imei in dc4 phones, but this in order to do that you have to replace chips, and that's not that simple.
if you upgrade your 3310 to 3315 you'll have a picture editor, automatic keypad-lock, and timed profiles..and maybe more, i don't remeber right now..
recently i replace Cobba in 8310, but after finish the replacement, the phone are locked, and need some code to unlock. Is this kind of dct4 imei security ? Is there any software to generate the security code ?

What kind of lock was it on the 8310 how did you get the code? What do you mean by 'Cobba?'

the imei has nothing to do with the cobba chip, but after you change it, the phone may ask for security code, or restriction code.
security code is a 5 digits code you choose (default is 12345), and the phone will ask for it when you insert a new simcard or try to access options like factory reset etc.
("new simcard" = simcard that is not one of the last 5 used).
restriction code (or unlock code) is a code to remove the operator lock, when a phone locked to an operator and you insert a simcard of another operator - the phone will ask for restriction code. you can generate the restriction code with a dct4 calculator, search the forum to find it.
Thank for your advise Yotamz, i try to use DCT4 calculator. Because everytime i replace Cobba chip or other chip, sure ask about the restriction code and i will spend some money to ask the person who work in Nokia company to unlock it.
