There is nothing wrong with your MMC losing some MBs

I have a Harddisk (40 GB) and after Format becomes (37 GB)
Percentage Loss is (7.5)

in your Case (128 MB) becomes (122 MB)
Percentage Loss is (4.6)

Actually.. you should get used to these stuff.. as your formating will required some space to be able to be used by an IBM format...

and.. usually... FAT takes more space than FAT32 format...

and if you had a larger MMC, you'll lose even more % of your MB
but... in your case.. you have a VERY SMALL size which doesn't eat alot of space...

anyway.. I might have some wrong infos, so.. if anyone has more accurate infos.. please share with us your knowledge...

actually there is no you did not "loose" your 6mb or any memory at all. What manufacturers call 128mb (lets use 128mb as an example) is infact 128,000,000 bytes, meaning 1000bytes is considered 1kb (kilo byte). But in actual fact, 1kb is 1024bytes to a computer. So if you devide 128,000,000 by 1024 twice (instead of 1000)...

128,000,000/(1024x1024) = 122mb

same goes to the 40gb HDD...

40,000,000,000/(1024x1024x1024) = 37.25gb

nothing loss... it is still is what it claims to be (well... sort of)...
Its just that the terms are slightly different.

Its been like that since forever... relax... :D
