Just got a data cable for my Panasonic GD67. Problem is, I can't find any software for it. I originally bought the cable to upload tones/logos to my phone.

Secondly, seen firmware mentioned here. How can I find out what version firmware my phone has, and how can I update it?

Thanks;

Matt

To check whether What software version your GD67 has:

Switch on the phone

enter PIN (if applicable) and press #

When the startup show appears press the 'HANGUP' button

then quickly key in *#9999#

A list of software versions will appear after a short time

look at the top line, you will see something like this
78D2GAD67A29-29

the A29-29 part tells you the software version, it may say A14-14 on yours.

to upgrade your fone, u need WinMoDo, and the actual firmware!

this is attached!
If u need any help with winMoDO email me [email protected]

Az!

P.S Make sure your phone is fully charged before upgrading!!!!!

When upgrading with Winmodo, click download wen a file is selected, then press the power button on your fone (make sure your phone is off before pressing download)

I have been reading the messages here and it prompted me to check my firmware version. When I did it read A12-12.

My wife bought me this phone through her mail order catalogue at the beginning of this month, I am amazed the firmware is so old, it must have been in their warehouse forever.

Hopefully Panasonic can sort me out, when I finally get through on their number.
