I havent tried that second code yet... trying to get bwinlock to work. Says "unable to open driver" even when ive installed the inf file into my system32/drivers folder. hmmm..

I know i only have a few chances of gettin the code to work. So would be best if i could find out for sure if that provider code is right

try it on a pc with windows 98 or me

select right com port, and select right option for serial port. usually RTS On (not marked) and DTR On (marked) will work. if this not work, try the threen other possibilities

check it datacable connector fits correctly in phone and battery is connected well

Ok i have managed to get the driver working

but its still not reading the phone :(

When..

DTS & RTS = ON software says "Unable to read phone version"

RTS = ON software hangs on "reading phone info..."

DTS = ON software hangs on "reading phone info..."

When the software hangs I leave it for like 2mins and it still doesnt show anything up.

:( this isnt so straight forward as I hoped.

you should try it on pc on which driver is NOT necessary (Win 98 / ME)

cehck cable contact to phone connector under battery, too
