I'm a Vb programmer and i would like to learn more about Java to make and share games but i've some questions:

1) There are some differences between J2ME and JAVA? What kind of languages i've to follow and where i can download the right compiler?

2) After a project is maked how can i send to my phone-mobile using my cable? What kind of software shall I use?

3) There are some tricks to build a game? It's easy to insert midies, images?

Thanx, your help is very appreciated right now...

Thewiper:

1) Yes, Different API. You can download the API for Nokia 3510i here: Nokia 3510i API (http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/1,6566,030,00.html?fsrParam=2-3-/main/1,6566,030,00.html&fileID=2828)
You have to register before downloading. Registration is free. Read requirements and installationguide.

2) Use programs like the ones dajoebomb mentioned above. Or make your own WAP-site and download from there.

3) J2ME documents (http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/1,6566,21,00.html)
Here you can read documents on programming J2ME, including guidelines for making games.
