3390 unlocked and No signal

I have 3390 from Korea that I unlocked so that it can be used in my Country, and after unlocking with Nokia tool 1.8 by rolis and updated faid after unlocking there is no signal, can anyone tell what the problem could be?

Hi,

So far as I know, South Africa doesnt have any 1900Mhz GSM networks.

MTN uses 900Mhz only and Vodacom uses 900 and 1800.

The phone you have is designed for use with North American GSM networks.
