nokia 3310 screen

Have a problem with my Nokia 3310 screen. When you switch on the phone i get the normal display on screen. After typing in the pin code the screen comes up with the standard greeting display as expected. The problem arises when you press a few buttons the screen goes blank but the light stays on. When you press any key a click is heard. You can use the phone to ring out by typing in the number manually and receive calls but nothing is displayed on the screen. The only thing you can see is the background light which appears when you press a button. When you switch off the phone and then on again the screen display appears as if nothing has happened. Goes off again if you press a couple of buttons. Software problem????:confused:

I've got quite the same problem. only that I don't have to press a few buttons... the screen gets blank after you enter the pin code. :confused: :(

any ideas?? please help

try factory reset with nokia tool or wintesla or something

don't simply factory reset,this will not help,
how long have you buy the phone.for what i think your problem is with the LCD connector,just change the connector(a small rubber at the back of the LCD).

on 3310 there are no rubber but metal contacts.....
