i want to flash my 6510

Hi there,

I understand I need a flash file, which i can get from www.nokia-flash.tk

When I have that file, what program should I use to update my phone with it?

I have the right cable & driver on my computer (xp).

Is it possible to extract all numbers and texts from my phone onto my computer then download them all onto another SIM card?

Could you recommend software that can do this & software to change my stupid operator logo which currently reads "i love price william".

Hi sorry to bother you again, but I searched the forums and there doesnt seem to be a black & white answer, so i wondered if you knew of a newbies guide to flashing a dct4 phone using windows XP Pro.

I downloaded userport 1.0 and tried dct4flasher, and it says "no box".

The communication is there because logomanager works fine.

Any ideas?

I have never tried to maintanain a phone under XP...Im using 98 SE.....
Cant be much helpfull I far as I know it is better to use 98SE make a dyal machine .... this soft and cheaper flasher works fine for me..yesterday I flashed 6510 without any problems..
Hope someone else can give You an answer..
