I know how to calculate the unlock codes. I enter the code, but I can't press the last "#" key to unlock the phone. Anyone know how or why this is happening??

you can't enter the last # becuase you are typing the codes in a 3395 which is a dct3 phone.

there is no way to unlock dct3 phones with codes, you have to buy a mbus cable, and use Rolis Noktool (from the download section of this site).

Ahhh okay. I was told it was a DCT4 phone from this website http://www.unlockme.co.uk/dct4unlocking.html, so I was following instructions on there. So I would just need a regular Nokia data cable right (MBUS)? Any suggestions on where to buy it? I checked eBay and there are a few out there but says FBUS or M2BUS?

Anyway, thanks for your help.

This might be a dumb question, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere...but, I allegedly bought an unlocked 3650 and I have no way of verifying if this is true. I travel to europe from the us a lot and I would hate to find out the phone is locked when I'm there and place a prepaid sim in there that won't work. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Quordandis

Thanks

so this means, a cingular sim works fine at the moment

try this only once #pw+997112121563517+1#

what does phone say after entering code?

BUT before you enter the code above look at the label under battery - are there at any place the charachters AWS - this would mean that att originally locked the phone and you would have to try #pw+348466071606463+1#

please post results
