Hi,

I have a 7210, and the codes that I use with the calc's aren't working. Here are the details;

Nokia 7210
Optus Australia
IMEI: 350893302240118

Can anyone supply me a code that mite work. The ones that i have tried are:

#pw+482467205045456+7# And #pw+482357205045456+7#

Thanks.

And just for general interest, if the phone does get permanently locked, can it still be used?

Thanks again!!!

your codes should have worked, as there are several that will work, my calculator gives #pw+472357205045456+7# but DON'T try it.

First, are you sure, taht phone is locked at all? Did you try a simcard from vodafone or telstra? what does phone says?

if a simcard from optus is the only working one, please try this #pw+204575033227076+1#

if fails, don't enter any codes until you bought a serial datacable (no usb) and read out configuration key with bwinlock

after 5 wrong tries, phone will work in locked status with the simcard from locking operator, but unlocking with codes is not possible any more, only commercial cable solution

The phone only works with the optus simcard that originally came with the phone.

I have a optus simcard and it does not work with mine either. It just says "enter security code". Same thing happened when we use a telstra simcard.

When I entered in the codes that I mentioned, the error that it gave was simply "check code"

Now, the bad news is that I have given it 4 trys, and that is why I asked that if it did get locked permanently, if it was still able to unlock it. But what ur saying is that if it does get permanently locked then only "Commercial Cable Solution" is that like handing it into an optus store is it???

Thanks again!

if your phone asks for "security code", that has nothing to do with simlock, default code is 12345, but if it was changed you need datacable + soft.

or does it ask for restriction code with vodafone sim?
