ring tone upload ???

Hi ive spent the afternoon getting my bluetooth to work with nokia suit and was annoyed to find the 7650 has no option for uploading new ringtones.

or am i being stupid and missing somthign obvious.
somone please let me know how i can upload some of the thousands of new ringtones i have to my phone .....

please help.

Arc_Angel, I have a 3650 and a usb Blue tooth adapter.

First thing your ring tone has to be in MIDI formate.

Second, just send the file to your phone. I will appear as a message in your IN box. When you open it it will automatically open recorder. Under options choose save sound file. Then when you go to profiles and choose ringtone, it will be there under the name that you up loaded it as.

The only other format you can use on your series 60 phone as far as I know now is AMR files. Of which there is nothing out to convert MP3 files to AMR format and extension. I had heard that the new apple quicktime pro would allow it but I don't have the pro edition so I can't tell you weather it works or not.

You can also use the WAV format as well, this is the best option if you have the space. At the right settings you can make a 20 second WAV file thats about 250kb small and the quality is also very good.
