I don´t think there is a way to do it with software, but there is a chance. The Memory was in the Flash and if i think right it is splitted to die Firmware (Symbian OS) and the User Memory.

If you use a slimmer Firmware (Symbian OS) which uses not so moch space, the User Memory may be larger.


But i think this is a dream, i never heard about a patched small Firmware for our 7650. And a DCT-4 Flasher Hardware is needed.

Sorry, i´ve looked.

there are two flash chips in the phone:

1. with 16MByte (128MBit) for the operating system
2. with 4MByte (32MBit) for the user memory

I think there is no chance to to use the free memory of the 16MByte OS Flash.

guys, seriously, i have software that can turn the 7650 into a PSG-1, complete with armor-piercing bullets...

seriously: don't confuse hardware with software...

I've found that software , you just run AWDFlash Exec to flash the phone bios on the phone , then make a MS Dos boot disk and copy it to the MMC with a card reader , then when you phone boots up it will show a command line , simply write sys c:/nokia :D :D :D and now you have DOs on the phone :D

Hehe joking , well , it getting a cable wasn't that expensive , there could be a way of making a patched firmware to it , but it would require lot's of programing , and i'm no shure it would work....
