sim card registration help

my phone isnt registared to my sim new sim card,when i put it in it says sim card registration failed,how can i make it work?

What type of nokia phone is it ?
What network is the phoned locked to???

was t-mobile now i unlocked it and it says sim card registration failed

If the phone is still saying "sim card registration failed" there's a good chance the phone is barred....

barring has nothing to do with simlock - your phone is barred in network, NOT simlocked, if the simcard does work in other phones
