In the GPRS menu under settings->connection settings why does it have a box where you can put in an access point when the access point that is being used is in the bunch of settings (actual access points)....... If you know what i mean. Whats the point in having a box to put ur access point it if the phone isnt going to use it? Can someone straighten me out as I am confused as to why Nokia have made this option available twice.

Sorry i dont have the PDF version of the manual, what is this menu item for?

The manual indicates:

Access point - The access point name is needed when you want to use your phone as a packet data modem to your computer. For more information on modem connections, see p. 137."
