 Does anyone know, if rolis 1.8 does the same job as eeprom tools and knok??

with eeprom and knok I donīt get a signal from my mobile, although I got a f/m bus autoswitch cable...(found out through logomanager!)

with rolis 1.8 , using auto set up, I get all the information of the phone read out, at least...

does someone maybe have experience using this tool (1.8 )...and is there all I have to do, as in attached image, found at
Cellular Software Solution (http://www.gsm-software.net) ??

with other words, does it work the following way:
 flash mcu and ppm files 5.55 to the 3310
 do all the steps (as shown on the picture)
 enjoy all the extra settings of a 3315??????

otherwise, I ask myself, how I get the new functions working, if my cable wonīt work with eeprom!!

any suggestions??

please help!!

thanx in advance

The Rolis 1.8 software doesnt work for me as you need a pure mbus cable to read out and make changes with that software.

With correct flashing and the use of Knok or EEPROM Tools i have no problems in updating the FAID at all

I use Rolis Flasher 4.77 and EEPROM Tools 3.1 or Knok build 21

Knok build 21 isnt the latest, but it works for me.
(IMEI setting, unlocking, settings to default and FAID calc)

If your using windows nt4/2000/xp you need to run and install USER PORT - search it on these forums to find it.

Knok and EEPROM Tools should work, try in a windows 98/me environment as sometime i have trouble with these in windows xp
