Im trying to create a background by intergrating 2 pitures together. Im using Adobe Photoshop by the way...
Iv taken a bakground posted from another forum and im trying to fit a photo onto it.
I dont really have any problem doing this, my problem appears when i try to save the image. I want it to be saved as a JPG (Jpeg), but the program defaults and only allows me to save it as a PSD which i assume is some Photoshop format which will only work if you have Photoshop on your PC.
Does anyone now how i can successfully save this as a Jpeg???

Just select Layer, then select make one Layer or something comparible , i'm using the DUTCH version so i don't know the exact option.
But why he didn't want to save it to JPEG is becuase jpeg only supports one layer, and by making it one you can save it a any format.
Hope this helped, and good luck with your skin!
In Corel PhotoPaint you have to export the image into .jpg or anything you want.
But in Photoshop ?!

Iv combined the to images an go to Layer but i cant see anything representing 'make on layer' or anything similar.
options are: New, Duplicate Layer, Delete Layer, Layer options, Effects, Add Layer Mask, Ungroup, Arrange, Merge Down, Merge Visible, Flatten image and Matting.
Note: Both images were Jpegs when i started configuring, but it changes to a PSD as i try to save it.

Hmm, i just tried pasting the one pic onto the other and i could save it into any format i wanted to, odd.
Well it should be the Merge Visible or flatten Image option.

BTW its easier if you just take the option SAVE FOR WEB
it will give you some option box where you can choose between JPG, PNG or GIF and select quality and all.
