is there a way to compress .JAR files within APPS with STACKER or something, just like you can do with the other programs??

thx

Sure... start up stacker 3.0, then in the main window move the C-stick to the right... You'll figure out the rest yourself...

@denBro,

sorry, you are on the wood way (means: you are wrong).

Java-apps and games are autocatically compressed = *.jar files.

Nobody can compress it smaller. Believe it.

oh...

i have this file called SplinterCellEnglish.jar
it is 99,6kb

i zipped it, and unbelievable, it was now 99,0kb

a whole whopping 600bytes

i find it rediculous to compress them jar files too, but i just answered the question...

And yes, compression any folder in the group section of stacker renders that folder unusable until manually decompressed. It's usage is actually better for compressing ie. pictures directory, video dir, or maybe some e32frodo disks...

HEY! then you should have warned me don't you think so :mad:
obiously, if im asking is because i dont know.... of course it is stupid to compress 600b... specially if after that you cant use the app. i mean, that is what we are here for TO SHARE EXPERIENCE, not to JUST answer questions... Is like, if somebody asks you where they can find water, dont tell them only where a well is, also warn them that the water is not drinkable, even if they dont ask...!?

Oh, well, never mind...
THANKS FOR THE TIP Sackgesicht ;)
