Unlock code needed for nokia 3650 cingular

I have a cingular Nokia 3650 and need an unlock code for it.
IMEI # 351102/50/048986/8
The phone was bought off Ebay in California. I'm a newbie so do i need to remove the simcard to enter the code.Also i live in Florida and i have Cingular as a Network.

Your phone had went over the maxiam of tried and now its "HardLocked". Only data cable could unlock it.

or tried to put a different service provider SIM Card to verify if its already unlocked. Many new phone from Cingular is no locked at all.

where i can buy it.Do they have software going with the cable

i just put an other sim card(T-Mobile prepaid sim card)and it's works fine.I don't understand why doesn't works with Cingular.This afternoon i talk to one of the technical support at Cingular,they said maybe the phone i have can't work in Florida because the imei number is from California.i don't understand,i thought that a Gsm phone can work everywhere

Do you think the phone is from T-mobile?

Maybe its a T-mobile phone not a Cingular phone.

"HardLocked" means your phone can't unlocked with just the code. Only a serial 3650 data cable could do the job. Look at this thread: this guy is selling data cable. Maybe he could help you out. http://nokiafree.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=36993&highlight=data+cable

well ,i'm pretty sure that the phone is from Cingular,because the box is a Cingular package.How do i know if the phone is locked to certain providers or not(ATT,T-Mobile or Cingular)

one way to findout if the phone is locked into a certain provider is the SIM card from which provider it works.

If this is a Cingular phone, it should work with Cingular. Unless its not a Cingular phone. Since it works with T-mobile. Don't you think its a T-mobile phone?
