PUK Generator??

Could it be possible to create a PUK Generator as the PUK is generated from the SIM Number?

Unlock codes are generated for DCT-4 Handsets based on the IMEI so could PUK based on SIM Number be possible?

the puk codes are not caculated with an algorythm, every sim has a different puk code, set by the provider.

Puk codes should be free from your service provider as long as the sim is registered in your name. The only real reason you would need a generator is if you have a stolen phone.

Does that mean the PUK is always the same for a sim or does it change each time a user becomes loked out?

puk is always same for same sim.

i had a sim one time and blocked it by forgetting the correct pin code for the card :( doh !
Phoned up operator, who gave me 12345678 as puk unlock code, which i entered and used successfully for about a year...then i managed to do the same again, fogot my pin - blocked it . I phoned the operator up again and this time he give me another code (also he mentioned that if the code he gave this time didn't work they would try another code)

My point is this, they must have a set of 10 puk unblock codes for each sim....
