Hello!
I need help with a dodgy 5130 here. It has been flashed with a buggy flash, but untill yesterday it still was working as long as the lights were on, once they shut off, the phone resetted.
Today in the morning i found out that the actual antenna of that phone (one of those flashing antennas) had disintegrated, so i replaced it with the original antenna. Before i did that, i tested several times if the old one still works, each time getting no network.
Now i got the original antenna back on, yest still i get no network. I checked the antenna's connections etc, everything is just fine. Net Monitor test 1 shows xxxx reception and * for tx, after the usual 10 seconds (lights go off) the phone resets.
That all is when using ORANGE SIM card.
When i put in another SIM (which is no more registered, thus also get no more network!) it shows the graph (G3nolite stuff) quite high, and also netmonitor test 1 gives reception -74 - -61 db. After ten sec -> reset.
Putting in a GSM 900 SIM has same result, a high network graph, reception around -64 db in test one, but no actual network name on display (coz is a 1800 phone).
Putting Orange SIM back, same as before, graph almost zero and xxxx in test one.
Is this a hardware fault, or did the flash get yet another "kick" due to my tests w/o antenna? The SIM works fine in another phone, so it's not the SIM, and the actual antenna is fine, too.
Oh, also the other net monitor tests..... with the Orange SIM they are all xxxx xxxx xxxx etc, when using another SIM, there is information about other cells and networks, even 520-99 (Orange!).
Please help me someone... thanks in advance!
Kind regards...
Thanh
