Hi all,

I just bought a new Nokia 6610, and started to use it 2 days ago. I just realized that sometimes the sound from the other side comes to me a little bit distorted (sound is crackling). If he/she increases his/her voice the sound get worser. Then I plugged the headphones that come with the phone, it happens again.
My friend is using a Nokia 6610 for 4 months. I used his phone to check the sound quality, but the same problems is happening on that phone too! (but he didn't realize until I told him

When I use radio option on my 6610 the sound is great on both phone's speaker and on headphones even when the volume is at maximum. So I think this problem is not related with speaker, if the speaker is bad then the radio sound should be bad or the the voice on headphones should be good during conversations.

And I read some posts and reviews on internet about this problem. The other 6610 users have the exact problem.
So is this a common problem for Nokia 6610, (same problem is happening on 6100)?

Thank you.

have you downloaded an operator logo yet? if so, can you tell me if it works fine?

as for the sound on your phone, mine doesnt have that problem.

Thank you for your answer Fulmens, well the sound problem doesn't bother me anymore because I don't hear the cracking sound. I downloaded many operator logos and didn't see any problem with that. I can erase the logo from screen or I can use an operator logo for weeks when I want. There is no problem with it. The version is 4.74

Thanks.
