I recently unlocked my Nokia 7210 which was on T-Mobile UK and now it is on Orange UK. There were no problems at all at first, but when i tryed to connect to the WAP it made a weird noise like it was engaged and said "Data bearer not available", i figured it was because it was still trying to connect to T-Mobile Wap. After i changed all the Wap settings to that of Orange UK, and i tryed to connect to that wap, but it came up wiyth the same error. I tried other Orange phones, but the wap worked on them fine. Why is it not working? Is it because their are more settings that need changing, or is it because i unlocked my phone? Either way, it is a very big problem. Also the GPRS doesn't work, that also didn't work when it was on its original network before I unlocked it. Please Help as i have a useless phone at the moment.
Thankz

You normally have to phone the service provider like orange and get them to upgrade your sim to accept
media messaging and gprs

i did this the other day with my wifes phone

newer sim cards do it automatically if brought with a phone like 7210

the setting could be the issue

did you try clearing the cache ??
