Slideshow as start up animation

Hi,

as the search for this question returned no results I'll have to ask it here:
Is it possible to add startup animation like slideshow in phones with static picture (like 51x0, 6110, 8210, 8250 etc). Like the Version V6.0 for Nokia 3210 which has this feature added by NOKIA.

I managed to make one! I just edited the Moving Nokia Hands with PPMEdit and voila!!! You just have to set the startup logo to default with logomanager!;)

how did you make 1-picture startup animated?
just add new pics and change animation? but in 6110 is no animation..

No, 6110 hasn't got animating pix,

3310 has a startup-animation (11pix)

startup animation would be very nice on 6110 (other models too).
and only way i can think it would be possible is adding slideshow, but how it canbe activated in startup?

OK, you must find a program called DCT3Reapir by Neb...

Open it and Click READ, click 32, click Default.

LogoManager didn't help my too...

That way you can mod the animation in the 3310 MCU with PPMedit.

i had logomanager 1.2(something), when i set own startup logo it's ok, but default (for 3310) was single pic like in 6110.
logomanager 1.3 set default as the original animated nokia-hands.

too bad sls3310 doesn't work, i'd like to change to draft human technology.. if i use ppmedit i'll have to do own pictures first, original nokia pictures are boring :)

But if it has a animating strat-up screen, it will work.

but it's possible if somebody knows how to execute slideshow code after entering pin-code.
and that i want to my 6110.

Since I am very poor at dissasembling, this may be wrong, but what I think you have to do is:

Find the ID of the single startup picture
Find the reference to that picture in the dissasembled code (When the picture)
When you patch the slideshow, I think it gives you a reference to the code (To use in menu items?), copy that, and put it in place of the call for the picture.

Then when the Nokia is normally calling the startup picture, then it'll run the slideshow.

But of course that maybe wrong, NokDoc or any other reverser would be able to comment on that :)
