View Full Version : Faulty 8310
Got a chance to buy a 8310, however it has a fault in that apparently it sometimes switches off without warning, anyone got any idea how to diagnose / repair this problem, my only prev repair experience has been replacing LCD & elastomer strip, so I at least have the relevant screwdriver!
Thanks in advance

First use a multimeter to test the battery,It should be a 3.6v battery so when you test it V- 20 on the meter. It should read at about 3.8 - 4.0 if lower than 2.0 it is your battery that needs replacement, Some time s the battery shows the right amount but is still broken so try using another battery that you know is working, If its not the battery open the phone and check the battery connectors to the phone, see if there is any dry joints that is not making connection properly and try resoldering that to make it work,
Get back to me if this does not work
Thanks and regards
