Hi Folks!
Anyone of you ever opened the communicator?
Cause i think i´ll have to try it.
My problems are:
- no more phone signals
- most buttons on phoneside don´t work no more
- Buttons on right side of display will only work if i got my communicator like 3/4 closed
- SIM isn´t recognized most of the times
So i think (hope!) i´ll just have to open the part with the displays in it... I think i got all instruction on that (like the "advanced" service manual with troubleshooting, disassembly, etc...)
Anyone dissasembled his communicator before?
If so, are there any parts that has to be exchanged when experience that kind of troubles or is it just a cleaning/fixing the antenna type o thing?
Any comments/thoughts welcome!:)

Yes stripped mine down and others loads of times, sounds as if you just need to reseat all the cables again or just remove and put them back should fix this.
You will need a T6 screw driver for the screws.
Also if you a mail account which can take 3meg files I have something which will help you.

Bout the buttons and the cables you may be right, hope it works with antenna, too...Also the cable connection between keyboard and display may be broken...:(
But I´m ready to go for it (cause my car is broken, too and i don´t have the money to buy a car AND a new phone right now...;)
So i will take anything that helps! My email can handle 10MB so go for it! :D will send it to you via pm.
Thanks for the help!!!:D

Hi, from the looks of your problems, I'd say your comm. suffered a few falls. I had that problem with one of mine. Just make sure that all of your connectors are secured properly when you close it up. Good luck

Hey guys i´m back with a more or less working communicator!
Dissasembling wasn´t as hard as i thought...
Fixed the signal-problem but still no luck with the buttons on right side of display...Buttons on the outside work fine again, too!
Anybody knows what the built in batterie (in the other half of Communicator) is good for? ;)

it's a 3.7v backup battery. It's used to keep the time & date updated.

What screen do you mean (inside or outside of 9210)? Any special trick to do that? (Hidden screws or something like that?) Cause i dont want to f*ck up my phone just to have these buttons working...;)

Inside screen, you need to bend the 4 pins back (think there is 4), look in the file I sent you should have it in there.
