Super noob question but, is there any apps that let you browse normal web-sites?

Yes there are, these are some of them:

Doris
Opera
WebViewer
NetFront

and there are probably some I've left out.

I prefer Opera, but it's big compared to the rest. NetFront is also very good, I would call it a close second.
