Hello GUys and Girls.

I've bought myself a 6310i, using my cheap flasher I've upgraded it to V4.80, as it seemed to be a bit buggy from what the previous owner said. I did attempt to flash to a higher version, but it failed, i have read this can kill the phone, so i flashed it back with the XPmoblie DCT4 flasher, with the bluetooth fix checked. the phones now alive, the bluetooth menus there and activates, so i "pressume" its working, i dont have any devices yet to test.

Can some one point me in the right direction to flashing it to a new firmware version using a cheap dongle, i should i quit now before i break it further

many thanks

Hey, thanks for that, I had read it.

Have you yourself tried it? I'd like to upgrade to a newer firmware, but i would ideally like to keep bluetooth connectivity, which, i could lose if i used this?

ANy one have these modded MCU's? and experience.

THanks again :D

Sergo, the above link talks at length about flashing with a cheap flasher on 6310i's, it does say that flashing with a late firmware will render the bluetooth useless due to a different algo on newer models?

Sorry to keep on, just dont want to break my phone! :D looking for concrette info.
